What is Quickswap V3?
Quickswap V3 is a decentralized exchange (DEX) and automated liquidity protocol that allows users to swap, LP, farm, stake, and trade perpetual swaps at fast speeds. Quickswap V3 is open-source software licensed under the GPL. Each Quickswap V3 smart contract, or pair, manages a liquidity pool made up of reserves of two ERC-20 tokens. Quickswap V3 rewards any provider with specially-minted QUICK tokens. Based on the assets locked, contributors get proportional rewards. Transactions in Quickswap V3 are supported by Polygon. Transactions on the Polygon are completed on the Ethereum main chain, providing all the security of Ethereum with huge layer 2 performance capabilities.
