What is Mantle (MNT)?
Mantle Network is an Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution that aims to provide efficient and cost-effective alternatives for Ethereum transactions. It is designed to be compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and uses Optimistic rollup technology to enable cheap and fast transactions. The network achieves this by bundling and executing transactions off-chain, while all transactions ultimately settle on-chain. Mantle Network inherits the security of the Ethereum network and offers significantly lower gas fees, reduced latency, and improved throughput compared to the Ethereum mainnet.
