What is Moonriver (MOVR)?
Moonriver is a smart contract platform deployed on the Kusama network, which serves as a "canary" network for the more secure and stable Polkadot network. Developed by PureStake, Moonriver offers Ethereum compatibility for developers, allowing them to create and deploy smart contracts using tools like Solidity and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). The primary goal of Moonriver is to provide a space for testing and deploying applications on the Kusama network before moving them to the main Polkadot network if they successfully pass testing.
