What is WhiteSwap?

WhiteSwap is a community-driven decentralized exchange that launched in 2020 as a fork of the Uniswap V2 protocol to deliver deeper decentralization and enhanced governance participation. Built on Ethereum and extended to Tron and Polygon, it allows users to swap tokens seamlessly via an AMM model and earn rewards by providing liquidity and staking WSD tokens. Governance is truly community-led, with a large majority of WSD tokens allocated to the user base and open voting on protocol decisions and token lists. LPs receive trade fees directly, with a portion channeled into staking rewards. WhiteSwap’s immutable smart contracts and transparent tokenomics reinforce its commitment to security and user empowerment. Despite being a smaller DEX, it gained recognition for low gas fee incentives and active community engagement, often preferred by users seeking efficient token swaps and community-aligned governance.
