Twap란 무엇인가요?
TWAP is a decentralized protocol designed for splitting large swap orders into smaller trades executed over time to minimize price impact and slippage. Built on Ethereum‑compatible chains, it enables users to place time‑weighted orders—either market or limit style—that are filled incrementally by incentivized actors. These participants competitively bid to execute portions of the order based on optimal paths across DEXs, earning a small reward for facilitating trades. The smart contract itself is immutable and non‑custodial, holding no funds and operating without centralized control. This method provides an effective way for traders to automate dollar‑cost averaging and large swap execution securely and transparently within DeFi environments.
