Hvad er PulseChain (PLS)?
PulseChain er et Tier 1 blockchain-netværk udviklet af Richard Hurt, som også er kendt for at have skabt HEX-kryptovalutaen. Det har til formål at forbedre Ethereum-netværket ved at løse problemer som strømforbrug, transaktionsomkostninger og skalerbarhed. Et vigtigt træk ved PulseChain er, at PulseChain bruger PoS-konsensusmekanismen, som er mere energieffektiv end den oprindelige proof-of-work (PoW)-model i Ethereum. Ethereum er også gået over til PoS, men PulseChain har til formål at tilbyde lavere gebyrer og hurtigere transaktioner, og PulseChain er fuldt kompatibel med Ethereums økosystem. Derudover har PulseChain en deflationsmekanisme - hvilket betyder, at netværket brænder en del af de transaktionsgebyrer af, der betales i PLS, hvilket reducerer udbuddet af PLS over tid og potentielt øger værdien af de resterende tokens.

Hvem skabte PulseChain-blockchain?
PulseChain blev skabt af Richard Heart, en velkendt figur inden for kryptovaluta. Han er også grundlægger af HEX-kryptovalutaen og har været involveret i andre projekter som PulseX. PulseChain blev lanceret i 2023 som en lag-1-blockchain, der er designet til at forbedre Ethereum-netværket ved at tilbyde funktioner som energieffektivitet, lavere transaktionsgebyrer og bagudkompatibilitet med Ethereums økosystem.
Hvordan fungerer PulseChain blockchain?
Konsensusmekanismen er Proof of Stake (PoS). Validatorer udvælges på baggrund af det antal PLS-tokens, de sætter på spil. Jo flere tokens, der er på spil, jo større er chancen for at blive udvalgt til at tilbyde nye blokke. De udvalgte validatorer tilbyder nye blokke, der indeholder transaktioner. Andre validatorer tjekker disse blokke for at sikre, at de er korrekte. I modsætning til traditionelle Proof of Work (PoW)-systemer reducerer PoS strømforbruget ved at eliminere behovet for brute-force-beregninger. Derudover organiserer PulseChain tiden i epoker (6,4 minutter) opdelt i slots (12 sekunder hver). Denne struktur muliggør effektiv transaktionsbehandling og validatorrotation.
Er PulseChain kompatibel med Ethereum?
PulseChain er fuldt kompatibel med Ethereum-økosystemet, hvilket gør det nemt at migrere Ethereum-baserede projekter. Smarte kontrakter kører på Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), hvilket sikrer kompatibilitet med eksisterende Ethereum-applikationer.
