Velas is a blockchain platform based on artificial intelligence (AI) technology that offers scalability, high speed, and security for developers and users of decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts. At its core, Velas uses a consensus algorithm called AI-Delegated Proof of Stake (AIDPOS), which leverages artificial intelligence to optimize the consensus process within the network. In addition, Velas supports the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), making it compatible with existing decentralized applications (dApps) and smart contracts developed for Ethereum.
