Base está construida con OP Stack de Optimism, que proporciona seguridad y escalabilidad para alimentar dApps. Es compatible con EVM, lo que significa que los desarrolladores pueden implementar cualquier base de código EVM e incorporar usuarios y activos de Ethereum L1, Coinbase y otras cadenas interoperables. Base ofrece compatibilidad total con EVM por una fracción del coste y se compromete a impulsar la plataforma para desarrolladores.
